Contour 4 – Contour 4 technology is a revolutionary breakthrough in performance ski boot fit. The anatomical contours of the inner sidewalls of the boot shell, as well as the inner lasts of the boot, are precisely “mapped” to the typical foot shape of the high performance skier. A small additional “space” is molded into the boot shell at 4 critical fit points: the ankle, heel, 5th metatarsal and navicular. The Contour 4 represents the first level of Dalbello’s My Fit System.

My Fit System – Dalbello’s legendary fit has been improved in over 60% of the shoe line with the My Fit System. The liner and shell can now be thermally customized in addition to the pre-molded Contour 4 shell that is included in every My Fit shoe.

Flex
Flex: 100 – A medium flex perfect for intermediate to advanced all mountain skiers.

Kinetic Response Tongue – Highly resilient ribbed polyamide tongue stays in constant contact with the leg for improved responsiveness and control. Interchangeable flex stiffness.

Adjustable Flex – With a modular insert applied between the shell and the cuff, you can choose between 3 different degrees of flex.

Liner
IF Sport Liner – The IF Sport shoe features a medium density thermoformable Ultralon foam in key fit areas of the shoe (40%) and provides the best possible fit, whether out of the box or in just 4 minutes of warm up.

Shell Materials and Design
3-Piece Architecture – Dalbello’s critically acclaimed Cabrio Design 3-piece architecture has been the cornerstone of its high performance, all mountain and freestyle models for over a decade. This unique construction combines a 3-piece shell/sleeve/tab assembly that comfortably secures the foot and lower leg while optimizing smooth, progressive flexibility. Dalbello’s Cabrio models offer the ultimate in responsive performance for skiing at its best. Don’t accept any imitations.

Bi-Injected Polyurethane Cuff – Two different density materials fused into one structure to combine power (hard) with comfort and a convenient entry (soft).

Shell / Cuff / Tongue – PU (polyurethane) / Bi-injected PU / PA (polyamide)

Stance
Balanced and Dynamic Stance – The foot angle, canting angle and cuff angle are designed into the shell and cuff to position skiers in a balanced and centered position for optimal dynamic performance.

Twin Axis Canting – Allows skiers to align the lateral tilt of the upper cuff with the skier’s leg. Outer and Inner Hinge Cap Alignment – Using a 5mm hex tool, turn the mechanism clockwise or counterclockwise to align the boot cap to the desired position.

Low Cuff Hinge Point – A high leverage cuff assembly with hinge points mounted approximately 4 inches lower than standard construction footwear models. The low hinge cuff allows the cuff to more easily follow the natural movement of the skier’s legs because it has a greater range of forward and backward hinge movement.

Adjustable Front Tilt – To change the front tilt angle, front tilt control shims can be inserted between the lower shell and the cuff. The shims are attached to the rear shell with a 3mm hex head screw. Without insert = 11° / 4 mm insert = 13° (in stock) / 8 mm insert = 15° (in the box).

Buckles
Reverse Forefoot Buckle – The forefoot closure buckle above the instep is reversed and designed to close on top of the shoe shell, not on the side. The positioning of the closure on top prevents the buckle from breaking and bending during rail slips, grinds, drops and transitions.

Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles – A simple twist of the buckle! Micrometric buckles are easy to use for easy customization of the fit.

Dynalink Rearfoot Retention – The Dynalink is a set of independently functioning heel and toe closure straps that secure the skier’s foot in the mid and rearfoot sections of the ski boot.
